Hello all! It is time for another post for the
Trendy Twine blog! We have been getting some sunny days lately, and this card captures some of that cheerfulness. The featured Trendy Twine of the month on this card is
Bubblegum Taffy.
To begin with, I adhered patterned papers from Echo Park's Have Faith collection onto a kraft cardstock mat. I then used a small hole punch to add 2 holes in each corner to weave
Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine through. I thought it created a fun border and great visual interest. For the focal point, I used an
oval die with white cardstock and a scalloped oval die with vellum to create the background. I then die cut the
Cottage Cutz He Is Risen die cross and words with navy blue cardstock and glued them to the vellum with
Bearly Art glue. The top layer of the cross was cut from white glitter cardstock and also glued ontp the cross base. I used
foam tape to pop up the oval onto the card front. For extra shimmer, I ran around the outer edge of the scalloped circle with
Clear Glitter Wink of Stella, then added
Cotton Candy Sequins in the four corners of the card with
Glue Dots glue squares.

Aqua Sampler PLUS Aqua Licorice, Aqua Midnight, and Twisted Gumball. Each twist is ten yards in length and comes on a wooden clothespin.
